I am making a list of blogs about agriculture, especially blogs make by famers themselves. To lead things off, I think it is only fair to list my blog. https://wheatyield.wordpress.com/
I made that blog when I was doing a lot of reading about wheat. I had all these notes and then I thought, 'what a waste to just throw these notes away.' So I made a blog. It won't win any awards for design, probably not any award for anything frankly. My intention with the blog wasn't to impress the reader, just to maybe help save them some time when they have a question about wheat.
Where to from here? Now I will be looking at other blogs and if I think they are good, I'll add them to my list. I hoping to find blogs that are truthful and accurate about production agriculture instead of the blogs that are anti-agriculture.
One last thing. I have not put a lot of thought into where to blog. I looked briefly at my options and really like Medium and WordPress. I am using Blogger for now because it is from Google and also free. This could change in the future, in which case I would move to medium.
What I knew would not work for me is Tumblr. I've tried blogging on Tumblr but the agriculture items I have found on Tumblr weren't exactly what I was hoping for.
